Still Not Convinced? More on Podcasting for Your Business

Many of your will have read the last podcast post – 7 Benefits of Podcasting for Your Business – and said to yourselves, “Yeh, but Podcasting isn’t right for MY business. MY business is different.”

How is your business different?

Do you not need to be considered the experts in your field?

Are you not a business that feels building and maintaining a relationship with prospective and current clients is necessary?

Is your marketing so strong in other areas that you just don’t need Podcasting?
Well, phooey! Every business should be positioning themselves in their marketplace as the experts and working hard to build and maintain relationships. Communication is vital to all businesses, and podcasting is just one way you can reach and engage with your customers.

If your marketing is already successful in other areas it isn’t a good reason to avoid new marketing and promotional media. In fact, as a successful marketer you know that the more weapons you have in your marketing arsenal the better – as long as you are seeing good returns on investment. It costs very little to start podcasting and is a genuine opportunity to communicate directly to your market. And unlike many other marketing and promotional tools (such as radio or print advertising) you are able to tightly focus on just those people who are genuinely interested in your market or niche.

Your market may be different from mine, or anybody else reading this post, but we all have one thing in common – we need customers/clients, or we don’t have a business at all.
