It all comes down to individuality in the end. I spent the first half of my life trying to be like everyone else, then suddenly realised it was just simply more fun to be me. People spend far too much time trying to be like everyone else, so much so that they really start losing sight of who they are. Reminds me of a classic line from Life Of Brian. When Brian has run home and has the crowd outside his window and tells them all "You're all individuals, you're all different!"
